TRIPLE PLAY
In investment, a stock beating analyst expectations for revenue and earnings, and escalating earnings guidance for future quarters at the same time. Certain investors look at triple-play stocks as an initial filter for seeking good stocks for investment. Seen as a highly positive sign for the stock, the Bespoke Investment Group first popularized the phrase in mid-2000s.
