TUNNELING
Illegal business act in which a majority shareholder or high-level company insider channels assets or future businesses to themselves for personal gain. Actions include dilutive share measures, asset sales, excessive executive compensation, and personal loan guarantees. Minority shareholders are affected by this illegal practice because their ownership is lowered or devalued.
