UNIT OF PRODUCTION METHOD
Unit of Production Method is a process wherein a property that is not continually used undergoes depreciation. This method is typically used when a property’s value is defined more by the number of units it produces than the number of years it is in use. It means that there is bigger deductions for depreciation in years during the time when the asset is heavily used.
