UNITRANCHE DEBT
An Unitranche Debt is a kind of debt that is typically used to expedite a leveraged buyout. It creates one debt instrument that combines senior debt and subordinate debt. In the case of unitranche debt, the borrower pays one interest rate, that would fall between senior and subordinate notes, to one lender. It was made to simplify the debt structure and hasten the acquisition process.
