UNRESTRICTED CASH
Unrestricted Cash is monetary reserve which is not connected to any specific use. Due to this flexibility, unrestricted cash is highly liquid and may be used as instant reserves for emergencies or any other kind or purpose. Unrestricted cash may sometimes be seen in the balance sheets of the company as the excess of the company’s maintaining cash level. Unrestricted cash is also a company’s liquid funds. This may involve cash, cash equivalents, unrestricted cash, unrestricted short-term investment, and net short-term borrowing capacity.
