WAGE ASSIGNMENT
Wage Assignment refers to the procedure wherein a portion of an employee’s compensation is taken away as payment to a debt obligation. It is done under the authority of a court order and is usually a lender’s last resort to get repayment for a debt that a borrower has failed to pay.
