3P
Total amount of reserves a company estimates having access to, computed as the total of all proved and unproved reserves. Unproved reserves are divided into two segments: estimates based on geological and engineering from proved sources, and those less likely to be extracted because of financial or technical difficulties. Hence, 3P is proved plus probable plus potential reserves.
