AA+/ AA1
Ratings agencies' highest rating given to an insurance carrier or a security. It connotes that only a little risk to no risk of default is present and is often given to securities that posses AMBAC or an another kind of insurance banking. Policyholders or investors are assured that their money are secured with this kind of rating.
