AARP

AARP, formerly known as American Association of Retired Persons, is America's leading organization for individuals whose age are 50 and above. It is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association founded by retire educator Dr. Ethel Percy in 1988 with over 40 million members. It provides, education, information, research, community service, and advocacy by means of a nationwide network of experienced volunteers and local chapters. Its main focus of work is on economic security, consumer issues, health and independent living issues, work, and also engagements in judicial, legislative and consumer advocacy in these are areas.
