ACCIDENT-YEAR STATISTICS
It is a statistic that is commonly used by many insurance companies for them to gauge the percentage of the premiums they received are actually being paid out through claims. The accident-year statistics are a measure of the overall losses of the companies against the overall income (both premiums and deductible.)
