ACCOUNTING METHOD
It is happening when the income or the expenses of the company are reported for taxation purposes. Taxpayers are required by the Internal Revenue Service in choosing an accounting method that accurately reflects their income. They should also be consistent in their choice of accounting method from year to year. Also, the IRS approval is important and required to change methods.
