ACCOUNTING PERIOD
It is a span of time where all of financial events should took place. It is generally a quarter or a year. It also reflects the financial activity happened during that span of time. Companies differ about their accounting period, some company do not start their fiscal in in January likewise not all final quarter ends in December.
