ACTUARIAL SCIENCE
A type of discipline that evaluates financial risk in the finance and insurance fields with the use of statistical and mathematical methods. Actuarial science applies the mathematics of statistics and probability for the definition, analysis and solution of financial implications related to uncertain future events. The traditional actuarial science mostly revolves around around the analysis of the production and mortality of life tables, and the compound interest application.
