ADJUSTABLE PEG
A policy in exchange rate which is adopted by some countries in which the national currency is largely fixed or pegged to a major currency such as euro or U.S. dollar, but is still subject for readjustment from time to time within a constricted interval. The intention of periodical adjustments are usually towards the improvement of the competitive position of a country in the export market.
