AIRPORT TAX
A tax collected on passengers for crossing through the airport. It is one of taxes typically included in the price of an airline ticket and is generally intended for the usage of the airport. Most of the time, the chunk of the fee is called the landing fee, collected first by the aircraft then transferred to the customer in the form of the ticket price, to land at a particular airport. A great variation of the fees depends on the airport's popularity. The revenue from the airport taxes fund is intended for the maintenance of the facilities.
