ASSET-BASED APPROACH
A kind of business valuation which concentrates on the net asset value of a company, or the fair-market value of the total assets minus its overall liabilities. The asset-based approach fundamentally ask what is would cost to revive the business. There is a leisure for interpretation using the asset approach in terms of deciding which assets and liabilities of the company to include in the valuation, and how to scale the worth of each.
