AT A PREMIUM
A sale of an item or asset at at price greatly above its original purchase price because of a high demand, instead than appreciation. At a premium, when employed to point an asset cost, can indicate its limited supply and increased price. Alterations in the market rates, limited supply and superior performance, are example of reasons that can lead an investment to be in high demand and to trade at a premium.
