AVERAGE SELLING PRICE - ASP
This is the price of a class of service or good is generally sold for. The average selling price is largely affected by the product’s type and its life cycle. Products like jewelry, televisions, cameras, and computers have high average selling price while books and dvds generally have low selling price.
This can also refer to the industry of real estate. When ASP is generally high in a particular region, that means it is a signal that the market is booming.
