BATCH PROCESSING
A way of handling deals in a group or batch. No user interplay is needed once batch processing is underway. This creates a distinction between transaction processing from batch processing, which includes processing transactions gradually and needs user interaction. It is exactly appropriate to end-of-cycle operation, while batch processing may be accomplished at any time, such as producing monthly or bi-weekly earnings or making a bank’s data at the end of a day.
