BONA FIDE FOREIGN RESIDENT
Resident of a foreign country eligible for foreign earned income exclusion, based on the criteria the Internal Revenue Service sets on its bona fide residence test. It classifies any individual living in any foreign country for the whole tax year. Residents should be either a US citizen living abroad or permanent resident of a nation in which America has a valid tax treaty.
