Index trailing the municipal bond market. Released by The Bond Buyer, investors use the index to plot interest rate patterns in the municipal market, as well as to trade these index futures and futures options at the Chicago Board Of Trade (CBOT). Also called Bond Buyer’s Municipal Bond Index.
