BREADTH THRUST INDICATOR
Technical indicator which determines the market momentum by computing the number of advancing issues on an exchange and dividing it by the aggregate number of issues (advancing and declining) on it to get its 10-day moving average. If it moves from below 40%, it signals the beginning of a possible new bull market. If above 61.5%, a sentiment shift occurs, which rarely happens.
