BUDGETARY SLACK
Intentional allowance for extra expenditures in a future cash flow. It either underestimates the amount of income or revenue, or overestimates expenditures to be paid out over a given time period. Budgetary slack is an unethical business practice since it gives a false impression the performance of a business or project turns out better than planned.
