BULLDOG BOND
Bond buyers purchased to generate a revenue stream from the British pound. The exchange risk declines if the revenue is used to cut down debt in British pound. Non-British entities issue these bonds who seek to sell the bond in the United Kingdom. American investors can also acquire the bulldog bond but they will need to endure the risk of the change in value of the sterling.
