CELLER-KEFAUVER ACT
Antitrust legislation prohibiting firms from doing mergers and acquisitions with vertical partners in order to prevent the creation of a monopoly or substantially reduce competition. The Act was passed in 1950 to amend the Clayton and Sherman Antitrust Acts.
