CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST - CDFA
Professional designation given to individuals expert in financial issues related to divorce. The role of the analyst include being an advisor to one party’s divorce lawyer or acting as a middleman for both parties. To become a CDFA, one must have two-year financial planning or legal experience, finish a four-step modular program, and pass the examination administered by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA).
