COMPOSITE INDEX OF COINCIDENT INDICATORS
Broad-based index measuring the current economic conditions based on four cyclical economic indicators: employees and non-agriculture payrolls, aggregate personal income less transfer payments, Index of Industrial Production, and manufacturing and trade sales. The Conference Board publish this index to help economists and investors determine the business cycle phase the economy is currently experiencing.
