CUM RIGHTS
Forthcoming rights offering declared by a firm. It enables old shareholders to purchase net shares, normally at a price lower than the current market price of the shares being questioned. The rights themselves have value aside from the existing shares’ worth. Unlike ex-rights, the shares can be transferred from one shareholder to another.
