CURRENT FACE
Current par value of a mortgage-backed security, which is determined by multiplying current pool factor by its original face value. It pertains to the outstanding principal balance of the underlying security of the MBS. The current face will drop following every payment is made if the MBS pays off interest and principal on specified payment dates.
