Decentralized, peer-to-peer open source virtual currency under the category of altcoins. Introduced in 2013, the cryptocurrency’s logo is a Shiba Inus, a Japanese dog. Although seemed casual in approach, it has been attracting wide acceptance for online transactions. It employs peer-to-peer technology in carrying out its transactions. The digital currency is scrypt based that allows fast payments to anyone, anywhere in the world.
