DO-OVER OPTION
Option of removing the original application for benefits and refiling at a later age. It allows Social Security recipients who began receiving monthly benefits earlier to give back funds or pay back the Social Security Administration all funds they have previously received without paying interest or penalties on it. Then by refiling for such benefits at a later time, they will get a higher monthly check for as long as they live. Also called reset option.
