ECONOMIC GROWTH RATE
Gauge of economic growth from one period to another, expressed in percentage. The measure does not adjust for inflation, it is expressed in nominal terms. In essence, it measures the rate of change a country’s gross domestic product goes through year over year. GDP can also be used if the country’s economy is relying heavily on international earnings.
