Electronic request for thorough information about trades transmitted to clearing companies, broker dealers, and market makers by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The information sent includes security name, price, transaction date and size, and parties involved. Before, the information request was mailed to clearing firms on blue sheets of paper.
