ELM STREET ECONOMY

Contemporary economic movement encouraging self-sufficiency either on a regional, city-wide, or neighborhood-wide basis. This movement rejects globalization and cultivates several alternative ideas instead such as renewable energy, reducing personal consumption, and using alternative ways of exchange including bartering.
