EMERGENCY FUND
Money set aside for an emergency situation such as unexpected unemployment, an illness, or a major expense. The fund aims to improve financial security by creating a safety net of fund in order to meet emergency costs and also cut the necessity to use high interest debt including credit card. Most financial advisers suggest an individual’s emergency fund must cover at least three months of living expenses.
