ENTRANCE FEE
Charge imposed for admission. This is commonly used in continuing-care retirement communities (CCRCs). Usually, residents would prefer paying a high entrance fee and monthly payment over purchasing a unit in a CCRC. They pay it in exchange for the services the CCRC provides, such as nursing care, within the lifetime of the individual.
