EXCHANGE RATE
Price of a country’s currency relative to another currency. It has two components: domestic currency and foreign currency. It can be quoted either directly or indirectly. In direct quotation, the unit price of a foreign currency is indicated in terms of the domestic currency. In indirect quotation, the unit price of a domestic currency is denoted in terms of the foreign currency. Also called currency quotation, foreign exchange rate, or forex rate.
