GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE - GATT
Set of multilateral trade agreements implemented to further regulate world trade to support economic recovery after World War II. Formed in 1947, its main objective was to break down the barriers of international trade by reducing tariffs, quotas, and subsidies.
