GIFT TAX RETURN
Federal tax form an individual must file who gives a gift above the annual or lifetime exempt gift amount the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sets. For instance, if the annual gift tax exemption is $15,000 per recipient, any person who gives a gift higher than $15,000 to a recipient will have to fill out the form. Any gift above the set exempt amount are subject to gift tax.
