GRADUATED VESTING
Advanced benefits employees receive as they increase the tenure of their service to an employer. Federal law requires a vesting schedule for the employers’ contribution part of private retirement plans. It details the minimum number of years an employee needs to render in a firm in order to take the vested right to all or portion of the employer contributions.
