GROWTH RATES
Amount of increase a particular variable, expressed as a percentage, has gained within a specific period, normally year over year. For investors, it normally demonstrates the compounded annualized growth rate of a firm’s revenues, earnings, dividends, and macro concepts including the economy in general. The two common kinds of growth rates used for analysis are expected forward-looking and trailing growth rates.
