INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION BENCHMARK - ICB
System that categorizes both domestic and foreign stocks worldwide. Developed by Dow Jones and FTSE, ICB uses a system of 10 industries, divided into 18 supersectors, and further divided into 39 sectors, which has 104 subsectors. It categorizes more than 70,000 companies and 75,000 securities in the world.
