INFORMATION COEFFICIENT - IC
Correlation value between predicted and actual stock returns. It is a performance measure used to evaluate the forecasting ability of financial analysts. An 1.0 of IC denotes a strong linear relationship between predicted and actual values, meaning the analyst has great forecasting skill, while a 0 score indicates no linear relationship and the analyst is a poor forecaster.
