INHERITED IRA
Individual retirement account given to a beneficiary, usually spouse, after the owner has died. If the owner has already started receiving required minimum distributions (RMDs) at the time of his or her death, the beneficiary must continue to receive the distributions as already computed or submit a new schedule according to his or her life expectancy.
