INTERACTIVE MEDIA
A communication method in which the program’s outputs rely on the user’s inputs; in turn, the user’s input influence the program’s outputs. This media engages the individual and interact with him or her in a manner that non-interactive media cannot do. There are two common types of interactive media: websites and video games. Generally speaking, movies and most TV shows don’t count as interactive media but shows that require audience participation can be considered as interactive media.
