INTEREST RATE DIFFERENTIAL - IRD
Determines the difference in interest rates between two same interest-bearing instruments. Forex traders may use IRD in pricing forward exchange rates. As per interest rate parity, a trader can make a projection of the exchange rate in the future between two different currencies and fix the premium of the present market exchange rate futures contract.
