Guidelines of international accounting standards by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) that corporations and organizations should follow when reporting financial statements. It allows investors, governments, and organizations to make comparisons easier. More than 100 countries mandate firms to comply with IFRS standards, which was previously called International Accounting Standards (IAS).
