A government-owned organization that is responsible for managing the sovereign wealth fund and foreign investments in the oil and chemicals sector in Abu Dhabi. IPIC was established in 1984 that aims to invest internationally within the hydrocarbons industries worldwide. As of 2009, it has approximately $14 billion in assets.
