INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION - ICC
First independent regulatory agency within the US Department of Congress that regulates pricing of the movement of goods throughout state lines. It sets pricing rates and safety standards for railroads, roads and ships, and other interstate transportation, as well as telephone and wireless providers. The ICC was governed by seven Commissions, all of whom were not to have connections to the industries being supervised.
