IRS PUBLICATION 931
A document that assists employers in knowing when to deposit Social Security, Medicare, and income taxes for their employees. Released by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS), employers must use one of two authorized deposit schedules: monthly or semiweekly. The schedule is based on the amount of tax liability reported during a lookback period that is the calendar year prior to the previous year.
